FAQs

Everything you need to know about the service.

How does the RX.co and Kroger partnership work?

We've teamed up to make managing your medication costs easier. RX.co provides a seamless search tool that allows you to compare cash prices for prescriptions directly at your local Kroger family pharmacy. By using our card, you can often access exclusive discounts that may be lower than standard retail pricing.

Do I need to be a Kroger Plus member to use this?

Not at all! While being a Kroger Plus member is great for your grocery shopping, this discount program is separate. Anyone can use the RX.co cash card at participating Kroger pharmacy locations regardless of their store loyalty status.

How do I get the discount?

Search for your medication on our site and select your preferred Kroger location. Download or print your unique discount. Present the card (digital or physical) to the pharmacist at your Kroger pharmacy when you drop off your prescription.

Can I use this with my existing insurance?

The RX.co card is designed for cash payments, meaning it cannot be combined with your existing health insurance or government programs like Medicare/Medicaid. However, you are always encouraged to compare the two—sometimes our cash price is actually lower than a standard insurance copay!

Does this card work for all medications?

The RX.co card is accepted for most FDA-approved prescription medications. Please note that it cannot be applied to over-the-counter items, supplements, or certain specialty drugs. You can check your specific medication’s eligibility by searching for it on our website.

Is my personal health information safe?

Absolutely. Both RX.co and Kroger are committed to protecting your privacy. We adhere to strict HIPAA standards to ensure your health information is handled securely and only used for the purpose of processing your discount and filling your prescription.
